Having come back from Alaska after a rare successful summit and traverse of North America’s highest mountain, Denali (Mt. McKinley), Ben is now preparing for the Atlantic Rowing Record Attempt as part of the specially selected all-British Atlanticsix team.
“For me rowing across the Atlantic is one of my life ambitions, and along with climbing Everest and skiing to the South Pole, is the first part on an ‘Adventure Trilogy’ which I hope to complete in the next five years.
If you want to be a part of the Atlantic Rowing Record attempt, but from the advisable safety and comfort of your own home, you can! I will dedicate my miles at sea to you…”

After what will hopefully be a successful crossing of the Atlantic Ocean, and as part of what he sees as a kind of ‘apprenticeship’, Ben is planning to cross Greenland in an ambitious light-weight speed crossing, born out of experience of ultra distance marathon’s, and as preparation for the rest of his planned ‘Adventure Trilogy’.
